"Like another review stated, we wish we booked a longer stay at Tagus Marina Houseboat! We booked this for our last night in Lisbon, to be close to the airport and to surprise the kids with a neat experience and did we ever succeed! The houseboat was fully equipped for longer stays and was extremely comfortable for us 4 - two adults, two children (9&7). "Although the front desk staff were very friendly this is not tourist friendly. No maps available nor umbrellas . The tv didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it. The room was cleaned only when requested which is fine but it smelled of mildew because of the odd location of the shower. Bed was very comfortable and location is quiet. The listing was a little misleading as I assumed we would be in an apartment due to the photos next to the listing. For the price it was adequate."

"Great value for the price. The hotel was clean and well appointed the rooms had a small living room and kitchen which is great when traveling with children. Our family enjoyed the buffet breakfast and access to the roof pool. It’s about a 10€ Uber trip into the city but for all the extra value it was worth it. I would book again. Unless you want to be in the heart of the city for the nightlife this is a good location for a family doing site seeing and day trips out of town."

"We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making everything so easy for us. The room itself was bright, airy, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. To top it off, the cleanup crew did an amazing job cleaning the room daily, keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Highly recommended!"

"The property is in need of upkeep. Things are broken and damaged. Chipped paint, damaged furniture and wall hooks fallen off the wall. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Towels were clean but worn. That said, the sheets were clean and beds comfortable. The location is great."

"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do...
