"We came to the area from North Carolina to visit our son who is in AIT at Fort Novosel. My husband and I drove the 10 hours and arrived at night. We were tired and ready to relax. Walking into Boil Weevil Cottage was a breath of fresh air. It smelled so nice and was spotless. Any amenity we needed was there. Nice comfy couches to rest on while we waited for the time our son could come see us. We are still getting use to the army life. It was 6 mins from the base Ann multiple food options....

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Upon arrival the pool was green and dirty but they were very prompt to send someone out. It took until our last day for the pool to clear but it didn't ruin oour stay. "

"This place was great. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The host was responsive, kind and thoughtful. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable, except for the twin sized bunks. They were too firm for our older kids. There was a strong air freshener smell to the home that might bother sensitive noses."

"The house was beautiful. The property is beautiful, quiet, secluded, and safe. It feels like staying at Mawma & Popaw’s house it’s so clean, comfortable, & huge!! The sheets smell soooo good in the master bed. We celebrated our daughter graduating from Troy. Easy drive for groceries & everything we needed. Enjoyed the porch & sitting area out back. Great memories made in this beautiful home. "

"The VRBO provided the essentials and had general cleanliness. The neighborhood is quiet. Nearby restaurants are primarily fast food, so you'll have to travel a bit for non fast food. Dothan is a 20-30 min drive and has a variety of restaurants. Golf is also 20-30 min drive away (RTJ Highland Oaks and Dothan National). The host was very responsive for any questions/issues. Good value for the money. "
