"There was enough room for my large family to sleep and eat. It was very private and quiet as there are only cornfields and trees surrounding the property. The host was very helpful and friendly. There was not a swing set as pictured, but the kids had fun playing in the loft. "

"We loved our stay! Great communication with Mia! We arrived early and she gave us the passes to the pool and beach so we could hangout there while the cabin was being cleaned. Great hosts! "Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! "The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!"

"Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. "The house was very charming! Highlights were the hardwood floors, tasteful decor, cleanliness, and friendly welcome! The property has been well maintained, with very clean and updated bathrooms, comfortable beds upstairs, and spacious kitchen, dining, and family/living areas downstairs. We played games and watched a couple movies during our stay, and walked the short distance to enjoy the downtown square to shop, dine, and browse the farmers market. And that was all before the Saturday evening...

"Thea was such an amazing host! As we walked in, we were greeted with a sweet note and dog treats for our guys. The house and property are beautiful! The windows in the house made for great sunsets and nature watching at breakfast. We even saw an Eagle on one of our hikes around the property. This is also a dogs paradise, it was hard to keep the dogs inside. We stayed almost a week and didn’t want to leave. "SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. "The view is STUNNING. We stayed for a week and a half and had everything we needed. Cooking utensils, cleaning products, laundry detergent, garbage bags, etc. The house was fully stocked which was an excellent surprise. Only thing we needed to truly bring was personal toiletries. Our two boys (3 and 5) LOVED the trundle bed upstairs and thought it was so fun to sleep together.
