"Room - not clean, with previous guest belongings were still all over the room. Cleaners - never came 2hrs after there were scheduled. Owners - of the establishment were highly unprofessional. Urgently requesting for me to cancel/refund my reservation 2hrs after check-in bc they had double booked my reservation and would not be able to house my party of 2 for the weekend. They also specified that there were no refunds and gave me a hard time getting my refund. All in all I would not advise anyone...

"DO NOT STAY HERE. We had booked two bedrooms and the one bedroom was not clean. The bed was not made and the towels were not changed and it smelled horrible in there. We had three people so we had to book a different place to stay for the night. We could not get in contact with the hotel after calling multiple times and communicating with hotels.com as well. They are not refunding us. "

"Wonderful old Victorian home, reflective of late 1800s Philadelphia. Well maintained although obviously an old home. Very comfortable, clean, relaxing and peaceful. Gracious hosts who also provide a really tasty breakfast and access to tea, coffee, microwave, fridge etc. Everything you need for a getaway weekend in Philadelphia. Great experience!"

"The Morris House is a quaint and lovely place to stay in Old City Philadelphia. The Historic District is right there. It is convenient to the Italian Market, the Waterfront, and the Gayborhood. Rittenhouse Square is not too much of a walk. Museum Row is a bit of a hike, but doable if you want to walk it. All the rooms are a decent size. The bathrooms are large; ours had a shower and separate soaking tub. The amenities are adequate, but what you might expect from a structure built in the 18th...

"The hotel definitely fits the aesthetic and vibe of Old City. It’s nostalgic and comfortable despite the fact. I would stay again!"

"Problems with key card not working. It was updated three times. Still had problems getting out of the parking lot at checkout. Breakfast not included. Only one hand towel. Housekeeping never came in to straighten up one day or provide replacement towels. Not a lot of lights (small ones on desk and at nightstand). Only one floor lamp near chair by window. Lights in bathroom, closet area and refreshment area. Front desk staff was very helpful as I had to extend my stay an extra day."
