A popular recreation area for canoeing, fishing, bush walking, bird watching and
mountain biking. The park also includes an adventure children's play area.
* Anglesea village can be reached via Coogarah Park in 10-15 minute walk
* Walk beside the river to the Surf and river beach in 10-15 minutes.

At the start of the Great Ocean Road. Adjacent to Coogarah Park and 3 mintue walk to river for fishing and boating.

4th bedroom with 2 sets of bunks plus trundle beds (6 beds).
Third full bathroom in one wing of the house, plus powder room
All bedrooms are separate from each other.
The house can accommodate up to 14, suitable for 3 couples and 8 children.

Fantastic all round

Our family group of 8 adults and 5 children had a great short break at The Lodge. The location could not be better for our needs and the house provided everything to make for a memorable stay.

Everything you need for a perfect getaway.

Beautiful property with ample space for 3 families. Excellent location, well stocked kitchen (including coffee machines) and plenty of seating in the living room for everyone to sit around for games nights. The Lodge has everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable, with Robyn being an excellent host. We really appreciated the early check in and late checkout. We’ll definitely be back.

Family get together

Great house and location. Lacking attention to detail (some outdoor furniture needs replacing, door lock broken, kids equipment left lying around when we arrived, no seeds to feed the birds, sports balls flat and couldn’t find a pump, garden a little weedy). Minor things which if attention had been paid to them would lift its rating) We loved our stay. With a little maintenance here and there the property would be even better.

A wonderful stay at The Lodge

My family and our friends had a wonderful stay again at the Lodge! We are returning visitors and love the space for our 3 families. We love the games room, tennis court and spacious living areas. Its in such a great spot too, close to tge river and playground and a short walk to the beach and shops. The hosts are wonderful abd very responsive. We will be returning again next year for our annual Anglesea getaway!

Perfect place for a getaway

We loved our stay at the Lodge - everything from the communication, easy check-in, awesome grounds and perfect house for 3 families made our stay brilliant. Only downside was the weather, but that couldn't be helped - and even so, the fire made the house beautiful and toasty

Family Celebration

We had a wonderful time. The house/property is amazing. The beds were very comfy and the weather was superb as it turned out. Feeding the beautiful birds was a hit too. Most of the group went for walks...our eldest grandson went for a 15km run - he had had to work so didn't come til late Sat arvo. We took a while to work out how to operate the stove - but found all instruction manuals. Ditto with the spa - which was enjoyed immensely. There were lots of activities for the 5 children under 9 - trampoline and just running outside. All in all a wonderful weekend. Trish and Bill

Relaxing Reunion

Perfect property for the group of friends. Facilities are excellent, enough rooms and Bathrooms. Outdoor tennis court is well maintained. Extra payment for Spa access but all worth it. Enjoyed our stay.

Very lovely convenient.Property for a holiday

We celebrated a family of a 70 yr old and a 7 yr old,such a perfect hidden quiet setting.Plenty of room for the 14 of us The Tennis court,trampoline were a real asset to have the use of.The house was a perfect size,great having 3bathrooms and toilets.So convenient to to the local playgrounds,beach and shopps.Loved it all.

Generous, practical house for 2 families

The house has plenty of room for 2 families and is well equipped. It’s a lovely place but easy to keep clean and tidy and the tennis court was a great hit with our teens. It’s an easy walk to the shops but we found it easier to drive to the beach with all the beach toys. Thanks for allowing us and our canine family members to stay. We’ll be back!

Outstanding resources and accommodation

It is our third stay and we love it. Plenty for children to do at the house and nearby an excellent park easy walking distance and safe bike tracks around river area. Excellent accommodation for a family of five including new born with grandparents. Always well presented. Thank you.

Another wonderful week at The Lodge

As the grandchildren get older, they remember how much they enjoy their Anglesea experience, and eagerly look forward to the next one. They love riding round and round the tennis court, and then venturing off with parents and grandparents to the playground, the river, the beach, and the obligatory ice cream. The house with its different areas suits our growing family of 6 adults, 5 children and one baby perfectly. And finishing the night off in the huge spa is a real highlight.

A property that has it all

Our group of 4 families spent Christmas at this property. This property has everything! Tennis court, basketball ring and trampoline for sunny days. Indoor spa and board games for rainy days. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils and crockery, even pantry staples. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one!
