This is going to be bad, but let me start with a couple of important positives: first, the bed is very comfortable. The bedding is also good with soft pillows and a nice comforter; second, the room is very clean. These are not minor things and so I want to give the hotel credit for getting them right. However, there are also several very important negatives: the shower is extremely dangerous. I cannot imagine what possessed the designers to put the slipperiest flooring I have very seen in a shower.I was afraid to move lest I slide and fall. If this were the U.S. it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Second, I’m not sure how many rooms in the hotel (I was in Room 267) have a step as soon as you come in the front door. For me this was not a hypothetical fall. I did fall and my back has the black and blue marks to prove it. This could have been much worse because my fall was broken by the idiotic GLASS bathroom door that is right on the side of the front door. Notice that I am not talking about a glass shower door. I mean a sliding glass BATHROOM door. I fell into it. Amazingly the door didn’t break because if it had it would have been really serious! I did go to the desk and explain what happened but absolutely nothing was done about it. No offer to change my room or even give me a decent apology. This is an expensive hotel and not at all worth the cost. I won’t even get into the corporate boxy feeling of the whole building. In short, stay elsewhere!
