"A quiet, relaxing cabin with a thoughtful and responsive host. It was a nice and comfortable spot to stay while exploring the close-by natural beauty of South Dakota and Wyoming."

"On our one evening here, we went out onto the porch of our cabin after dark to have a beer and look at the stars. While we were goggling at the Milky Way, horses out in the field were chuffling and whinnying in the dark, and it was kinda magical. I've never stayed anywhere that offered that kind of experience. The landscape around the ranch is beautiful, the cabins are clean and cute, the saloon is fun place to stop in for a drink and game of pool, and the bacon at breakfast was incredible....

"The accommodations in this beautiful setting were perfect . The town is small with a great atmosphere. A five star golf course is hidden amongst the pines with an equivalent restaurant in the clubhouse area. Local restaurants also excellent and national parks and reservoirs are close. Loved everything thanks to our host!"

"If you like rustic and simple, the peacefulness of the country and being "off the grid" you are gonna Love this place! Enjoy the thrill as you drive down the miles of winding gravel roads wondering if the next bend is your destination. And finally you are there... feel the peace as you slowly roll down the drive... no traffic, no noise, no hassle. Just good country folks respecting your space, but there for you if you need something. Coming here was the best part of our trip. Thank you Cassie...

"The property was fine for the value, be prepared to keep windows open. The cabin retains heat during the day, about 15 degrees warmer that it was outside. That could be a plus when it's cold outside but was less convenient on warm spring days"

"The property is beautiful and the cottages are well appointed and clean. The only downfall is the cottages don't have their own bathrooms. It would not prevent me from staying there again though. The bathhouse was very clean, good water pressure."

"I booked a visit to Kara Creek Ranch in an effort to escape the Denver area fireworks with my pup (he's super fearful). Cassie promptly responded to all of my questions before arriving and provided all of the info that I needed to check-in. The property is very remote and quite beautiful - vast open space as far as the eye can see! Everyone on site was incredible - from staff to other guests.
