"We were in town for our Great Nephews high school graduation in Bayfield. Outdoorsy was a wonderful choice. We look forward to returning to stay longer than 2 nights. Our tent was clean, comfortable and quiet. Love the location"

"It was good overall. The yard had some hazards for dogs or kids. Goats thorns, fence issues, old car stuff like that, but nothing outrageous. The property is nice. The host cares and supplies are ample. Location is great. I enjoyed and would recommend. The stove/ oven is new so ignore older reviews that mention issues. "

The outside landscaping was beautiful with the mountains in the distance that were visible and enjoyed having coffee out on the deck and out by the sitting area also. "This house is on a beautiful property tucked up alongside the mountain. Absolutely beautiful! The house is terrific too! A bit of a drive from town but worth it! Kids had a great time battling each other on the pool table. We would definitely stay here again!"

"A small house quite comfortable for 2 people. Very nicely furnished, kitchen is adequate (no stove but a two burner hotplate), coffee maker, dish towels. Washer & dryer. Laundry soap and dish soap provided. Bathroom is also adequate for one person at a time. My only concern is that the house was very dusty. Would definitely rent it again as it is only 10 minutes to Bayfield where we have family."

"Listing says there's one bed and one bathroom. It also says there's a toilet and a shower in the bathroom - the toilet is a bucket with a plastic bucket seat and the shower is an outdoor hanging bag. No running water - just a cooler. Calling it a "cabin" is a stretch."

"Another wonderful stay at this cabin. My sisters and I enjoyed our stay here as our elderly uncle lives up the road. So convenient getting to our uncle every day. We enjoyed nice showers and the washer/dryer as our trip was a working vacation at our uncle’s ranch. We will be back again. "

"We were thrilled at the layout of the place which was spacious and very clean. There were a few domestic items that we felt should have been easily found and available, but since we shop at walmart for fun, it was not a problem for us to purchase. The beds were on the hard side. The drive to durango was surprisingly easy and quick! The mountain is quiet and we never saw another car on the road! We would return to this wonderful home in the future!"

"My wife and I had a great experience staying at the cabin near Bayfield, Co. The location was fantastic. We had access to hiking nearby and was close to Durango. The cabin is located in the forest which made it very quiet. James was a great host. He gave us good suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. The cabin was very clean and was well equipped with all the essentials for a nice stay. We would definitely go back there."

"Most of the stay was phenomenal. I would recommend getting in an exterminator, earwigs fell on two different family members, from the ceiling, while watching tv. If we hadn't been mountain people, we may have had to vacate over it."
