"The Mercure Kuta Bali is a great mid-level hotel. It has a solid buffet in the morning, but it can get busy, and if you eat on the second level, you may have to carry your food up a flight of stairs. The resort has a nice pool overlooking the ocean across the street. It is not in the quietest location. The spa also has an ocean view, and is a great bargain for the location."

"Aston Kuta Hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If there was anything that you needed, they would get it done right away. My hotel room was clean. I was given an international charger at no extra expense. Breakfast was included with my stay. The food was delicious. They had their signature Indonesian food and some western food. What I didn’t like was the swimming pool is right near the dining area. I wish it was a rooftop. "
