"We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us."

"The toilet sometimes would delay in flushing and the hot water took about five to ten minutes to warm up. This was reported to the staff that was very friendly, they were gonna give me 5000 Hilton Honors points for the inconvenience but I have yet to see it. The stay was good inspite of those issues."

"I can’t speak to the suites, but the standard room was very underwhelming for the price. Over $200 per night and Furniture, walls and doors were excessively scratched and worn, there were stains on the curtains and walls and there was hair in some of the towels. Plus additional charge for parking. Lobby is nice and overall stay was fairly quiet. The food at Edgar’s Hermann was good, a little on the bland side, but the coffee was EXCELLENT."
