"Let's call a spade a spade—these are motel rooms, not apartments! That said, they are on a par with many motel rooms we have stayed in over the years—better than some and not as good as others. Our room had a distinct musty smell upon entry; presumably, the carpet had gotten wet at some point. Once inside for a few minutes, you got used to it, but it still assailed you every time you reentered the room.
