"Loved Pontresina - very walkable, had a great stay. This hotel is centrally located and very quaint. Staff were excellent. We arrived late, they called to check on us and offered to pick us up from the train station. Breakfast was excellent and we had a nice drink on their back patio in the evening. "I really liked this hotel because it was in great condition, rooms looked pretty new. I had a studio that could have slept 5 with a double bed and 3 individual beds. The bathroom was nice and clean and balcony space was facing the mountain. The hotel is very kid friendly. Staff was very friendly, and parking was easy. It is only a 5 min uphill drive from town. "Beautiful stay in a very special location. One thing they don't make clear (or else I missed it!) is that your funicular ticket to get to and from the hotel is included, so you need to tell them at the ticket window at the bottom of the slope that you are staying in the hotel. My only criticisms are the uncomfortable blocky foam sofa in the room and lack of tea/coffee making in room. Had to go to the lounge at the end of the corridor and it was messy and unstocked from the day before. However,...
