"Facilities need to be updated "

"The hotel is in the center next to plaza de sol , it’s a very busy area! Very touristy! But very close to Palace , park Retiro , De Prado , plaza Mayor , metro also walkable ! Full of shops and restaurants,touristy though! Around there is a mini mall with shops and a supermarket downstairs also a food market ! Great choices and the best empanadas ever !!! Very affordable! Hotel is very nice ,big bathroom but small room but working A/C which you need even in May !our room was from the courtyard...

"We enjoyed our stay, family of 6. First visit to Spain. It is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Staff friendly, helpful, and accomadating. The rooms are quiet, slept well, beds comfortable, shower pressure excellent! Only thing they may want to add with stay is body lotion. There is no hair conditioner- they have shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was delicious & worth the money. Thank you Chic for making our first trip to Spain a great...

"Friendly staff, room was ok, beds a bit too small for me but ok for one night, there is nothing inside the shower area too small, there is nothing to put your own shampoo or soap. "

"It's good size for one person, could be tight for two. It's very well located between Royal Palace and Prado Museum, all within 20min. of walk. Around hotel there were many resturants and a minimarket for fruits, yoguts ect.. You need to ask toothbrush+paste, tissue when you checkin. One block from the main street, it's quiet. Overall it is a good place for the money"
