"Due to arrival of a bus tour group we were invited to join the dinner group. Excellent bbq food. "

"This old staple of Mission Beach has recently changed hands. The new owners Tom and Kevin are super nice, genuine and helpful. My room and bed was comfortable and well appointed and looked on to the beautiful tropical courtyard. Recommended."

"Warm welcome. Amazing setting with a river at their door step. Falling asleep to the sound of that river was magical. Fantastic conversations with both Peter and Steve. Great guys with amazing stories and great travel tips for my future camping spots in the Kimberley region. Yummy eggs on toast for breakfast and even better, a pea & ham soup that Peter gifted me for my journey. Peter that soup was a party in my mouth, so so delicious. I can't thank you enough. I will definitely be back. "

"Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Australia! Staff are incredible (especially Sarah). Location is stunning - it’s remote but gorgeous. I would -*highly* recommend a couple of nights here on your East Coast travels and certainly better than staying in Mission Beach which is full of construction. "Have always found staying here to be very convenient to get to Yungaburra, Lake Eacham and Atherton. Cabins are always very clean, location is extremely quiet and staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend "
