"From the moment we walked in the hotel, we felt at home. The staff were very welcoming, the reception area smelt lovely and the rooms were spacious, modern and very clean with an excellent bathroom. Rooftop pool was really nice with plenty of space and fresh towels, and the gym very modern with good equipment. The only downside was the cost of spirits at the rooftop bar - €15+ for a gin and tonic seems excessive."

"I stayed in a corner premium room on the 2nd floor that overlooked the street and bar patio. No issues with noise. Room was spacious and loved the historical details. You also get chocolate almonds in the room every evening. Hotel is a unique building with lots of character, including the historic buildings in the back lot. Restaurant (had both breakfast and dinner) is a beautiful space with lots of exquisite details to view. Enjoyed having drinks on the bar patio in the evening as well. Gym...

"I was disappointed with this hotel as it was supposed to be 5 star. The staff were just ok didn’t really go out of their way with help or advice. The barman was quite unhelpful and rude. Also there was building work going on next door so we couldn’t even sit on the balcony or have the doors open because of this. The hotel did not fore warn us of this when we booked otherwise I would have reconsidered our stay!"
