We had an amazing stay here. Ke was incredible and helped us thoroughly plan our days and purchased our tickets. She was very responsive and always happy to help us. The hotel and room were very nice and located in the river. We would highly recommend staying here.

The owner have an excellent service to customer felt like family. They are very accommodating helpful in anyway. I really enjoy my stay from the start to the last day of my stay. Highly recommended.

Hotel excelente e estratégico para quem desejar visitar o zhangjiajie national forest park. O host é uma excelente pessoa, ajudou com um roteiro para o parque e me forneceu capa de chuva, quartos amplos e limpos, localização excelente há 1km do parque, sendo possível ir a pé ate a entrada.

I recommend this place so much !! Ke from the reception was the most sweet and helpful person ever. She took hours to explain me everything and made all my itinerary for my day trip !! She even gave me a present when I left, the best receptionist I have ever had in my life !!!! The hotel and room was clean and convenient. Great quality/ price ratio. Thank you so much Ke !!

This is a great spot. It's pretty quaint, but the rooms are nice enough. Nice view of the river, although it is right on a night market street, so there is some chatter at night but nothing crazy. The staff is amazing, they are so attentive and spent over an hour helping to plan our itinerary and even buy tickets for the nature sights nearby. They also recommend places to eat nearby. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely incredible and made our entire stay in Zhangjiajie so easy and memorable. We’re so glad we chose to stay here. They organized our full three-day itinerary for us, made sure we were able to see all of the biggest attractions, and even helped us get better prices on a lot of the tickets and activities. One day we had trouble getting a DiDi, and without us even having to worry about it, the staff made sure we had a ride arranged and ready for us the next morning to get to our next stop. That kind of service really stood out to us. They also recommended a show for us to see one evening, and it ended up being absolutely incredible — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Zhangjiajie itself is genuinely mind-blowing. The scenery throughout the park is unlike anything we’ve ever seen and honestly left us speechless more than once. It’s one of those places that pictures just don’t fully do justice. The only negative thing we could really mention is that the hotel itself is a little dated and could definitely use some updating in certain areas. That being said, everything was clean during our stay, and the incredible service from the staff more than made up for it. Seriously, such an amazing experience from start to finish. We couldn’t be more thankful for everything the staff did for us, and staying at this hotel made our entire Zhangjiajie trip so much better. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is in an excellent location, closed to lots of restaurants and with an amazing view of the river. But what really stood out was the arte and help received from K, who took the time to explain in minute details everything I had do to on K visit to the National Park and even was so kind to take care of all the bookings for me, which made my trip a lot easier and enjoyable. Thank very much for everything and I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Wulingyuan.

Mr. WANG and K are amazing people and gave us the best experience in our visit! K took the time to explain us day by day everything what we need to do in each park. She is really amazing!!!

Dont stay here. The property is not in the location listed on Expedia. The beds are like a wood plank with a bed cover. The dust under the beds was thick and grimey. The photos are not recent. The owners are nice, but its not what you think youre paying for based off the photos.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — The Best Stay We Had in All of Zhangjiajie If you’re coming to Wulingyuan, Leading Men Hotel is hands-down the place you want to stay. I’ve travelled all over China on this trip and no hotel came close to the kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality we experienced here. From the moment we arrived, Ke and Mr. Wong treated us like family — not guests. They weren’t just helpful… they were invested in making sure we had the perfect Zhangjiajie experience. Every single day they went above and beyond: • helping us plan our routes through the national park, • explaining the best entrances depending on the weather, • telling us exactly where to go to avoid the crowds, • organising transport when needed, • and even mapping out the timings so we could fit everything in without rushing. And they do all of this with zero stress, zero upselling, just pure generosity and care. You can tell they genuinely love helping travellers. The rooms themselves were spotless — genuinely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in China. Fresh smell, crisp sheets, tidy bathrooms, everything perfectly maintained. The whole hotel felt warm, calm, and incredibly well looked after. The location is also unbeatable: close to the national park entrances, shops, restaurants, and anything else you might need. But honestly, what makes this place special are the people running it. Ke and Mr. Wong you guys are the best!

Great hotel

Nice plays on the river. 10 minute walk from the entrance to Wulingyuan National Park. Manager is a nice man who speaks english. There was breakfast in the morning. Fresh fruits, bread, and eggs on order.

이틀을 예약했다가 편히 쉴수있어 하루 더 묶었읍니다. 일하시는분들이 모두 친절하고 부지런하게 쓸고닦고 했으며 요청하지않았는데도 차와 간식을 갖다주는데요 가족처럼 대해주었고 아침식사도 맛있었읍니다. 가격에 비해 아주 좋은 서비스를 제공하여 만족스럽웠읍니다.

Must be best little hotel in all China.

Stayed 7 nights and it was perfect! A super hotel: immaculately clean, comfortable, quality furnishings, well centrally situated by the river. I had a room on the top floor, it was silent and nice view. Super breakfast, cooked to order. The staff were always charming and caring. The owner, Zhijun, was probably the most helpful and generous I've ever met in a lifetime of travel! He spoke some English, and used phone - translate when necessary. For it's size and price this little hotel must be top - rated in all of China. Very highly recommended.

Am Besten sind die guten Tips vom Gastgeber Zhijun. Er kümmert sich wirklich sehr darum dass man auch als nicht chinesisch Sprechender gut im Nationalpark zurechtkommt. Auf Wunsch wurden mir auch Fahrten zum Tianmen Mountain, Lake Boafeng oder dem Yellow Dragom Cave organisiert. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, das Bett und die Kissen sehr bequem. Die Dusche im Bad ist nicht abgetrennt und somit kommt es dann doch schnell mal zur Überschwemmung. Wenn die Klimaanlage läuft riecht es nach einer Weile leicht modrig. Fällt einem aber nur auf wenn man kurz aus dem Zimmer raus war und dann wieder reinkommt. Jeden Tag 2 Flaschen kostenloses Wasser. Zum Abschied habe ich sogar noch Kekse mit auf den Weg bekommen. Alles sehr nett und herzlich.

The river views from room 208 were excellent. Beautiful river views and a stone bridge across the river. Nice breakfast with fruits, coffee, juices, tea, breads, eggs, fried rice, and dumplings. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Impressive Homey Stay

We had a pleasant stay at Z-up. The hotel has a perfect location: 2-min walk from Xibu Street. The condition is comparable to a 3.5 to 4 star hotel. Two ladies cooked breakfast and prepared afternoon tea/snacks for my family. We were super impressed.
