"Great location just a few steps from bus/train stations. Room was clean and staff leave you a bag outside the door daily with free drinks/TP etc…gym was well stocked. Not that much cardio equipment, but otherwise good. Breakfast was solid. Fresh rolls, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt etc..coffee machine was always available for free. Staff really gave a great effort to ensure quests needs were met. "

"Beautiful historic property in the middle of town. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Many rooms on the top floor seen to be loft-style with the bedroom up a large flight of stairs. Not a bad thing, but something to be aware of. It added lots of charm to already unique property."

"The location of this place is ideal. Conveniently located right by the opera and the heart of the old town. Easily reachable from the main station and close to public transport. This isn’t an apartment, nothing like an apartment. There weren’t even facilities to make drinks or any cups or glasses. This is a budget hotel room and nothing more than that. I didn’t sleep great as the pipes in the building were gurgling and banging all night and there was noise from outside from people downstairs...

"This is in a very convenient location with a good breakfast buffet. Close to major bus/tram stops and a lot of restaurants. There are a lot of stair, but that is true of everywhere in Bratislava. The reception does have limited hours (closed overnight and for lunch) so important to check before your arrival."

"AC did not work, barely circulated the air in the room, certainly didn't cool it! Restaurant/breakfast out of order. Shower cubicle broken/difficult to shut then shut in! Shower head wouldnt stay on the wall."

"Was wonderful. Was had to wait awhile to check in, but there was self-service wine and we sat outside in the garden on the beautiful sunny afternoon. The rooms were large and lovely, very comfy beds, large bathroom, the heaters were plenty warm. We did a tour of the winery production and had a heuriger dinner that evening. Situated in a beautiful paet of the Weinvertel, and there are ample opportunities to hike and ride bike. Lots of other wineries nearby as well."

"Constant noise . Bedroom doors which slam loudly without a damper. Modern music trying to hide the roar of traffic close to the hotel. Failure to make the morning alarm which was booked. Clients talking more loudly than normal to drown out the constant din."

"The most uncomfortable bed ever. We had booked a double room but they gave us a twin room. We went back to reception and the staff member said the hotel was full and shrugged, and said we can push the beds together. We went back to the room and did this, and there was loads of litter under the bed. The mattresses on both beds were extremely uncomfortable. In the morning we spoke to the front desk, and they said they couldn't switch our rooms but they would provide extra duvet covers. We got back...

"Very good location, staff very good and helpful"

"Room was okay, staff was helpful and friendly. Only one thing they should provided is they should organise area where they have good options and bars. So guest and have a great time inside when they are not going outside."

"Hotel is situated next to the Palace gardens (which are free to go in) and it is a short walk into the old town where all the bars, shops, restaurants are. It's a lovely place to wander round. The reception staff at the hotel are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We really appreciated this."
