Was put in a room on level 2 which shakes and is extremely loud from the train line directly below. Did not get any sleep - the hotel hasn’t been updated since our last stay in 2021 & woke up to a gap in our roof"

"It was good but would have expected better. Firstly there was a problem seemingly caused by Expedia - we had booked for 2 adults and 1 child in a single room. But the Expedia confirmation only said 2 adults. Confusing and ended up resolving it at the hotel without too much hassle. Good service tbh. Acoustic separation between rooms was a problem. "Clean and comfortable accomodation close to The Rocks, Circular Quay and transport. We stayed during Vivid so the area was busy until about 11pm each night but got quiet after this and is a lovely quiet area in the morning. Rooms were clean and comfy, with a few creature comfort and reasonably priced per night. Lots of stairs to walk up to get to the accommodation areas (being an older building there is no lift) so not suited if you have mobility issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would...

"North Sydney Hotel was perfect for us! It was only a 1km walk to the US Consulate, the room was cute, the rain shower was perfect and the common room for breakfast was a nice touch. I only wished we could have stayed a lil longer to enjoy the pub and restaurant downstairs. It's in a great central location with easy access to trains."
