Take the private pathway and find King Auberons surrounded by mature woodland, a large, covered veranda with seating and barbecue offers the perfect place for al-fresco dining whilst watching the wildlife that surrounds this holiday home. Listen to the woodpeckers, marvel at the soaring buzzards, or spot the deer and badgers.

Step inside and step back in time to an era of myths and legends. Take a while to marvel at the stunning interior, hand painted by the owners. The open plan living area is well planned with a small kitchen. Cook inside or enjoy a meal out at one of the many eateries in the area – the choice is yours. The dining table is close by where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day. Deep filled sofas and a window seat are ideally placed to enjoy a theatrical evening in front of the wood burner. The house bathroom is simply stunning! Generous in size and with a roll top bath with shower over. Two dramatic zip and link bedrooms provide a magical ambiance for a relaxing night’s sleep.

Before heading out for the day take a while to explore the Northwood Trail – England’s fairy sanctuary or enjoy a coffee and cake at the onsite café. The historic village of Stamford Bridge is a short drive away and offers a wide variety of shops and local inns with good restaurants, cafes and footpaths alongside the picturesque River Derwent. The historic City of York is a short drive away. Here you can enjoy over two thousand years of history and some of the UK’s best visitor attractions including Jorvik, the Castle Museum, Cliffords Tower, York Minster, York Chocolate Story and the National Railway Museum.

The coastal towns of Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington and easily accessible from this holiday home. The stately homes of Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Gardens and Burnby Hall and Gardens offer a great day out. With miles of walking and cycling opportunities and with close links to both the North Yorkshire Moors National park and The Yorkshire Wolds, this magical haven is just perfect for your get away from it all Yorkshire holiday.
