"Staff were very nice and helpful. We noticed that no one was picking up the trays from room service. Room was dated with lots of scratches on the furniture. Shower flooded ever time we used it. Most disappointing thing was they change their guest $25 a day to park at the hotel "

"Great hotel, large rooms and very convenient food options within walking distance. "

"Stayed here for two nights and most importantly was incredibly warm for the duration (we stayed mid-winter!) It's a funny place to stay, while check-in is at the hotel foyer, the apartments are located at 1 and 5 Macquarie St, so entering them is via a different location. So if you're staying in an apartment, don't expect it to be the same as a regular hotel stay. I'd equate it almost to a serviced apartment. "We had a one bedroom apartment which was compact but had all the appliances we needed. The bed was very comfortable. A continental breakfast was included in the tariff and a pancake machine was available. The breakfast was more than adequate but if a cooked breakfast is required a person would have to go elsewhere. The property is so central that many activities are within walking distance. The light rail is at the front door. We are very happy with Madison and would choose it again."

"Stayed in the superior king plus single bed. Really good size room, very comfy bed and large shower head with plenty of hot water with good pressure which was appreciated in Canbera winter. Only 4 TV channels working which was annoying given its an older gen TV and no option to stream. Parking was very full even through to rear patking lot (which needs better lighting and guidance as to direction to park as people were boxing each other in). "Lovely rooms, so quiet you can't hear outside or be bothered by internal noise. Beautiful views of Mt Ainslie, Mt Majura, Parliament house and the Airport which I looove looking at planes take off. (Aviation enthusiast here😉) Clean rooms, very friendly/professional staff, amazing cocktails and great ambience in the dining area with a very cosy fireplace🔥 I'll add Adam here, he has amazing service at front desk. Kudos to the cocktail lady Saturday night with her trainee and kudos to the chef...
