"The Woodland Retreat property was quiet and a good location for our fall golf trip. All beds comfortable and the place was very clean. Good hot water for showering and plenty of towels / linens. The Owner was very responsive to all questions we had prior to checkin and during our stay. The Wifi worked well. This is a heavily wooded area and we enjoyed using the firepit and grill. "The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

"Property was clean and appeared as advertised. Some noticeable pet hair on the drapes. The owner was great with communication, he even had a video showing you exactly how to get to the property as it is a little hidden gem. Great fire pit, we didn’t use it but it was very nice w/ Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Cozy and comfortable and just a 15 minute ride to town. "
