Stay right next door to the slopes! Located in Winter Park Resort's Zephyr Mountain Lodge, Snowshoe Slope is in the nearest building to the mountain for your winter adventures. Enjoy this 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo features comfortable living room sofa and seating around the cozy fireplace and Smart TV to stream your favorite shows in the evening or cable TV after a day on the mountain. Whip up your favorite snacks in the full kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, and dine at the table or enjoy your meals with the view from the balcony with additional seating.

Stay with up to 5 guests! The large bedroom offers a King bed, and the living room offers a Queen sleeper sofa and an additional Twin sleeper (pull-out) chair. Snowshoe Slope has everything you need to fully enjoy your stay with your family and friends in Winter Park, Colorado's longest continually operated major ski resort. This cozy unit has everything you'll need for an awesome getaway. Located at the ski base near the new Gondola, ski school, restaurants, shops and bars.

Guests can also take advantage of the Zephyr Mountain Lodge, with the Slopeside building's amenities including main lounge with common area fireplace, sip your cocktails at the provided bar seating, soak in the community hot tub, and check out the full fitness center. Your rental includes a personal ski locker, bike storage is available and the added convenience of the underground parking garage. With ski-in and ski-out access, this is the quickest way to the mountain with all the extras!

Although the towns of Winter Park and Fraser remain open, the Winter Park Resort is closed approximately between:

Getting Around:
The property is located at Winter Park Resort in the Zephyr Mountain Lodge Slopeside Building. We are located right across from the free community bus, "The Lift". Download The Lift Rider App to see departure and arrival times of the bus and destinations. Local Amtrak service is available at different times of the year in Winter Park and Fraser.

Traveling to Winter Park Resort:

During winter months, Colorado has a statewide traction law which requires a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle to drive on Colorado roads. We are located in a high altitude mountain climate. Snow can occur at any time during winter months. Failure to have a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle will likely result in being unable to reach your vacation rental. No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions. We encourage all guests to consider 3rd party travel insurance if they have travel concerns.

Interaction with Guests:
Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Elevations by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.

Pros: Location, location, location. This really is a ski-in/ski-out location. This was great for the kids, could walk right out by the hot tub and get to the lifts or gondola super easy. Ski lockers are large and easy to use. It's great you can use the same room key and you do not have to have another key to keep track of. The property management was very responsive and the communication of how to check-in and parking was very easy to follow if you read them. It does take more effort, but again was easy to follow. Mattresses in the bedroom and sofabed were very nice and comfortable. Loved the pulled out couch, you don't have to remove the cushions which helps save space.Cons: The place is tiny for a family of 4. With 4 people and all our stuff it was tight. There isn't a lot of great storage, the closet was tiny and the drawers were stuffed with bedding. The unit could use a deep cleaning on floors, fans and shelving, but the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were clean. Parking is not included in the cost of the condo, but if you follow the instructions which are very clear we had no issues and it was easy to follow. Definitely read their emails prior to heading up. Overall, I would stay here again.

Overall we had a great stay. The verification and check-in process was a little difficult from the time we booked until arrival. I also found it weird that there was no soap in the condo--no hand soap, shampoo or anything. The TV wasn't working, but management responded quickly and had someone there to fix it. The location couldn't be better!

Pros: great location, and host was kind and responsive. That being said I did honestly have some issues. When I arrived I asked where to park and was told any of the garages were fine/ it didn't matter however I was informed later by Winter Park Resort entrance worker that I was indeed parking in wrong garage despite having purchased parking pass for other garage. I will likely receive $200 worth of parking tickets unless the HOA will forgive me for the honest error. Second issue was that my daughter and I were out to dinner and when we arrived back the TV was on. My 12 year old was hysterical and crying. I appreciated that the host headed over to check the place however he explained that it was likely someone who accidentally was casting to our tv. I don't like that there was a lack of security like that. Lastly, I got pretty frustrated that there was no sponge for dishes, only one garbage bag upon arrival (we were staying for 5 nights) and only 2 rolls of toilet paper. It was explained to me by the host that it's not a hotel and it's my responsibility to buy these items. I was very peeved as I have stayed at many VRBO and have never experienced someone saying that. I could understand if we were going through a ridiculous amount but really - needing to buy my own garbage bags while on vacay? That was rather annoying to me. The place was clean enough but when we were leaving and we moved the coffee table to look for a lost sock I found crumbs. Not from us.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Winter Park Resort. The condo was a great home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and surrounding areas. The resort offered some shopping and great food options.

Great locations and accessibility to lifts and other fun attractions at Winter Park. Room was clean and updated and kitchen was very convenient and fully stocked with dishes etc. Only issue we had was that the pull out bed is not a full sized bed so it was difficult to sleep on for our son who is 6 foot. Other than that, great property to stay at.

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Winter Park in this Zephyr flat! Everything is pristinely kept, and we were all really comfortable after a day of skiing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The host checked in midway through to see if we needed anything. I’d return again if it’s available for future winter vacation stays!
