"Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!"

"Charles was an excellent host. His breakfasts were delicious and he made sure to accommodate for my dietary needs. His home is furnished perfectly for the time period yet still has all of the modern amenities. He has truly thought of everything. We enjoyed calling his cottage home for a few days."

"Ophelia's was a fantastic place! A comfortable and unique B & B that we found was mere blocks from the place & purpose of our visit to Independence. The room was very nicely decorated and had the usual TV, free internet & coffee as well as refrigerated beverages ($$) and fine liquors ($$). One big plus is that you can also purchase the Turkish cotton bathrobes that are provided to the guests (my wife liked them). There is elevator service to the rooms, which set directly above the restaurant....

"The breakfast staff was terrible, as soon as they put the breakfast out they went and stood right by the food with their arms crossed and starred at everyone's plates. They spoke Spanish and I do too they were talking about how much food was on people's plates and saying rude things. I travel often and never had this happen before it was a terrible experience it made me feel like never going back to that hotel again. Sucks because the rooms were clean and it was very close to worlds of fun but...

"The hotel was clean and in a good location. Parking was $30 per day. If you parked in the garage there is no elevator to the lobby or to the rooms. You have to go to the next level for that. Ice machines were scarce and didn't work if you found one. For the price I will look at other hotels next time."
