"Hotel correcto"

"The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. "

"The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept reasonably well. Could have done with better sound proofing as we could hear next door snoring all night and talking otherwise no problems "

"We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive."

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! "Bath as badly stained by limescale and not actually a bath! Just a water collection point for the shower. Wash hand basin cracked. Waited a very long time to have my dinner order taken at table. Order was incorrect but was ok in the end. "
