The Barkley

The Barkley is a comfortable and stylish mobile home on the beautiful Wilksworth Caravan Park. The park is one of several owned by award winning Shorefield Holidays, known for its tranquil setting amidst astonishing countryside. The park boasts a number of family friendly facilities, all of which guests have access to, including outdoor heated swimming pool (open during the summer months), BMX track, football field, playground, table tennis, campsite shop and laundrette.

An enclosed sun deck with outside table and chairs surrounds the caravan, so perfect for smaller children or if you want to bring your pooch with you for long countryside walks. The large bright and airy open plan lounge/dinner and kitchen is a fantastic living space for your holiday. Whether you are coming together to play a boardgame around the table, sink into the sofas to watch the Toshiba 32 inch TV, or dine in after cooking a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, including large fridge/freezer, oven, dish washer, kettle, microwave, toaster and cafetiere- this large spacious room is designed with comfort and quality in mind.

The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom holds twin beds and there is a further family bathroom with shower, basin and WC. All the amenities such as hairdryer, iron, ironing board, washing machine, and clothes airer and pegs, gives
this caravan a home from home feel.

For convenience there is a gravelled parking space right next to the caravan for one car and any other vehicles can be left in the main car park by reception. There is also an E charger by reception. There is no router in the caravan, however guests can enjoy the parks Wi-Fi at no extra cost.

The Barkley is perfectly placed, with a short drive to Wimborne Minster. Roam this ancient market town, which is stacked with character and call into one the many cafes, restaurants and independent shops. Also, a short drive away is Poole Harbour, where guests can book onto a boat trip to Brownsea Island, a captivating destination managed by the National Trust or venture into The New Forest to spot free-roaming ponies and walk in the woodlands. There's plenty to explore and discover for all ages in the surrounding area and further afield, and two dogs are welcomed at this property.

Due to site regulations, marked business/commercial vans are not permitted on the premises. The owner's site licence only allows for leisure guests, so the property cannot accommodate work-related stays or business vehicles.
