"KI Star was a fabulous place to stay on Kangaroo Island. The house was so well appointed, with an incredible sea view. We found this location to be suitable for our group (all adults), and gave us a great base to see so many parts of the island. We were surrounded by wildlife, with so many different animals passing by the deck area each day.Thank you to Angie for her great communication before and after our visit. "

" The view from deck is utterly fantastic. Loved watching the ferrys arrive and depart, and seeing pods of dolphins swim by in the sea. And the birdlife in the garden amazing! Terrific wood heater inside for the evenings, with plentiful supply of wood. So cozy.Beds very comfortable. "

"Exceptional value. Loved our stay at The Dunes Kangaroo Island. The house feels newly built—airy, generous spaces, high ceilings, and big windows that bring in soft coastal light. Beds are superb, showers have great pressure, and the kitchen has everything. Outdoor deck + lounge were our favourite spots for sunrise and evenings, and we saw kangaroos in the early morning (around 7.30 am). Everything is spotless and clearly well cared for—truly worth more than its price. A small request for future...

"Communication was excellent with clear instructions of how to access the property. The accomodation is tiny as indicated in the picture, but great for one or two people. Ambience-perfect, with the cabin surrounded by nature and visiting kangaroos. Bunk bed however is a little hard to access via the ladder."

"An ideal location for the ferry. The house has great views. Modern with everything that any type of traveller might need. When the road works are completed there will be easier access to the main body of rhe Island, albeit as it currently is, we had no problems."
