"We had a very relaxing weekend at this beautiful house in the mountains. Enjoyed sitting on the outside deck with gorgeous views of the mountains and wildlife. House well stocked and had everything you could think of. Games, books, hot tub, fire pit and lower level perfect for hanging out. Kathy was very responsive. We will definitely be going back."

"We loved our time at the Cider House. Diane has retained its history with a beautiful and comfortable renovation. Bed was comfortable and cabin had everything we needed. It was like the owners took the time to live there and put hooks in the bathroom and things to cook with and the appliances are all new. the Fridge big. Had trash bags, cleaning stuff, washer, dryer are newer. TV was great, puts you into guest mode where you can login to Roku and your Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc and it locks it out after your stay. "We stayed for four nights over a long weekend with four kids (ages 11-18) and three adults, including my older mom with mobility challenges. It was comfortable and lovely. We were even able to drive my mom around the back of the house close to the lake so she didn't have to walk. We also visited Virginia Tech, which was an easy 40-minute drive. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great yurt with all the comforts of home. I stay in a look pf vacation rentals and this one is very well equipped! They have everything you could need from a long nose lighter for camp fires to bug spray. There were even snacks waiting for us, stuff to make s'mores and treats for my pup. These people know how to run a rental and it shows with their attention to detail. We loved the hike down to the creek (hike up is a workout with 200ft of gain over .25 miles) and our dog loved all the wide open...
