"From the rain on the metal roof to the nights we had by the fire, the whole stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is quaint with a lot of personality, and the cabins in the resort are spread out so as not to be crowding. We had everything we needed. We grilled some steaks, read books , and took nice hikes in the area. The stay was exactly what we wanted. Calvin is very accommodating helpful. We will definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent most of our days on the lake (rented a pontoon boat at blue springs marina). This part of the lake had a lot of logs (I’m not sure if this is usual or not) which made navigating the boat a little difficult but this improved once we got further out into the lake. "We enjoyed the cabin for two families of four. The man cave was a great place to relax at night. For us, the outdoor area was great including the fire pit, grill, canoe and an area for fishing. We initially thought we could maybe swim off of our deck, but the water had quite a bit of trash and debris so we went us the road to the beach as an alternative. The owner Hank was responsive to our needs and suggestions. We made some great memories and enjoyed the cabin!"

"The property was great for our extended family. The open great room and kitchen was large enough to accommodate, yet there were plenty of spaces one could go to get away if needed. Two bedrooms on the main floor were welcomed for those that have trouble navigating stairs. The inside stairs to the loft are steep, but access from the deck was easy.
