"I love this place, have returned several times. Beautiful area, cabin right on a huge lake, very quiet! Basic kitchen with full size fridge, range and oven has everything I need to bake a lasagna, make pancakes, or nuke something simple. Lots of hikes nearby or daytrips to the ocean. Bring a kayak if you can- some days the lake is totally mirror-calm, other days active with wind and chop, but either way, the lake will be calling to you! The host, Carol, is quick to respond to questions and easy...

"James and Diane's cabin was a little slice of paradise in rural Maine. The scenery right out the back door is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed listening to the calls of the loons at night while sitting on the deck with cocktails. The house was spotless and has everything you could need for your stay. We brought many things with us that we never even opened. It was even stocked with Starbucks K cups! That made my coffee loving heart very happy. They even provided upscale bath products, and...

"Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! "

"We enjoyed our stay. The lake view was nice, and the three bathrooms were definitely helpful. The neighbors are very close, but it was nice and quiet for the most part. Overall, a very good place to stay for a larger group."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. House is located on a beautiful spot on Silver Lake with beautiful and spacious lake frontage. We enjoyed hanging out at the picnic table and lounge chairs and using the dock to launch our small aluminum boat and float in the lake! House is spacious and perfect for our family. "
