"Very quiet, relaxing and comfortable. Clean, beautifully decorated and beds were comfortable. Has everything you could possibly need. Owner is great and quick to respond to all questions. Welcomed our little dog. As it is a second floor apartment, someone with mobility issues may find the stairs challenging. We had a very nice stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again! "

"It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. "We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout...
