Put your feet up and relax by the sea

  • Me encanta estar en nuestra casa de playa de dos dormitorios en White Beach, un tramo de dos kilómetros de arena blanca bordeando una bahía de color turquesa, poco profundo y tranquilo, excelente para nadar y divertirse en familia en el agua. La playa es prístina, hay pájaros en todas partes, el cielo cambia constantemente, al igual que la luz en las colinas.

    ¿Sabía que puede ver Mt Wellington en Hobart desde la playa?

    Su acceso a la playa le llevará menos de un minuto, dependiendo de si se toma uno de los caminos que conducen a la playa directamente en frente de la casa, o elegir caminar a la vía en el puente (2 minutos).

    El dormitorio principal y el salón tienen vistas a la playa, todo el día, todos los días.

    La cocina está bien equipada con vajilla y cubertería, electrodomésticos y artilugios. Se puede cocinar una comida maravillosa con todo lo necesario a mano. SÍ use el lavavajillas ya que ahorra agua. (La casa funciona con agua del tanque, por lo que en verano, por favor tenga esto en cuenta.)

    Una buena selección de artículos de vidrio permitirá a acompañar sus comidas con cualquier bebida que más le apetezca.

    Hay una tetera de la hoja y una olla de café molido, ya que nadie puede comenzar un día sin uno o el otro.

    La mesa de comedor y seis sillas hacen cena especial.

    La plataforma tiene una mesa de seis plazas y seis tumbonas (almacenadas en el cobertizo).

    También hay una barbacoa de gas y una sombrilla para que uses.

    La sala de estar es muy cómoda - llena de luz todo el año de las grandes ventanas. Hay un sofá pidiendo a los que sueñan por la tarde, un televisor y un reproductor de DVD / CD. Hay libros, películas, música y juegos para su placer.

    Encender el fuego en invierno. Tenga cuidado sin embargo de no llenar en exceso, ya que la casa se calienta muy rápidamente.

    El dormitorio principal tiene una cama doble con sábanas de algodón. Se proporcionan toallas de algodón.

    El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales, también equipadas con sábanas de algodón. También hay una otomana plegable que puede usarse para una quinta persona. Si necesita que se haga la quinta cama, asegúrese de informarnos al momento de su reserva para que podamos suministrar ropa de cama y toallas.

    Una amplia ducha, WC separado y lavadora además de plancha, etc. están fuera de la zona de estar.

    La casa está conectada a la NBN y disfruta de WIFI rápido.

    Si te gusta la pesca, hay algunas barras en el cobertizo y una caja de aparejos.

    Pademelons, bandicuts y zarigüeyas visitar durante la noche. petirrojos de pecho rojo, reyezuelos azules de hadas y otras aves visita haciendo el día, a lo largo de los wiht chooks de vecinos que disfrutan comiendo sobras de la cocina.

    La casa se encuentra a 12 kms de Port Arthur y la destilería de whisky y ginebra McHenry, un poco más allá de Lavender Farm, y una increíblemente hermosa unidad de 20 minutos a través de las tierras de cultivo y el bosque hasta el Un-Zoo. Un poco más adelante está Eaglehawk Neck, donde se unen la historia y la costa. Tomar ventaja de los muchos paseos - a corto y largo que se encuentran en esta zona, así como la rica historia penitenciaria.

Cozy Tassie holiday shack full of character with absolutely everything you could need. Beautiful views of white beach. We Had a great stay over Xmas.

There was everything you would need for your stay there was everything there that you would have at home so nothing was forgotten very cosy and clean ideal for summer or winter fabulous views the beach was directly across the road would highly recommend it

Quite peaceful location with beautiful views

The area was very quiet, with great views across the bay and easy access to the beaches. Not to far from the National Parks and had several areas of interest such as Port Arthur and the Devils Kitchen close by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Love the view

Best equipped house we’ve stayed in, and the best shower! Decking is perfect for relaxing and wasting a few hours with a book in the sun. Good base for sightseeing.

Easter on Tasman Peninsula

An easy and lovely drive straight from Hobart Airport. Easy access to everywhere on the Tasman Peninsula. A beautiful view from the kitchen, living area and bedroom and a lovely bay and beach for a relaxing walk. The house was perfect for our family of 5 to begin our Tasmanian adventure.

The location was amazing, with beautiful views through the trees and over the bay. The accommodation was cozy and had a beach holiday feel about it. Very clean and everything we needed was there. The fishing rods even catch fish. It was very relaxing and we will be returning. Thanks Janice

Very nice location, right above the beach, nice views. Excellent property, well furnished and lots of extras, tea, coffee, spices, games, books. Stayz(Vrbo) gave us the wrong entry code, but fortunately the owner sent us the right one, so we could get in on the second attempt.

Comfy little beach shack in a great location

Property was comfortable and well-appointed in a great location. A great place to stay if you want a peaceful holiday. We went to the beach every day, sometimes to swim but walked along it every night. There are other great beaches for swimming a small drive away.

Wonderful area.

The property was wonderful. Area was really nice. Had a very relaxing time. We could not have needed another thing in the house. We had everything we could imagine. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a gem!

Impressed with outlook and accomadation for the price. Accomadation was very comfortable, very well equipped kitchen.Everything needed and more. Great selection of books, games and Dvds for rest days. Overlooking water, with a big long white beach 2 minutes away. Located 7 minutes drive to supermarket and bottle shops. A base for day or half day sightseeing trips around the peninsular. Would be happy to come back anytime!

Relaxing cosy cottage

We had a relaxing week staying at this cosy cottage. This is our second visit. It has everything we needed to be self-contained but is also close to great cafes and eating places. This views and outlook are beautiful with a lovely bush setting to enjoy the local birdlife. There is some road noise but as this is a quiet area it didn't interrupt our visit. There is no heat pump but the firebox keeps things cosy warm on a cold day. A five minute walk to beautiful White Beach which is great for walking, swimming and boating. It's a great place to enjoy all that the Tasman Peninsular and the Port Arthur region has to offer. We highly recommend it.

Second Honeymoon

During our stay, I was constantly reminded of our honeymoon. My husband loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and the waves rolling in. The house is heated by a log burner that was already set up for us; we just needed to light a match. The furnishings were very comfortable, as was all the outdoor furniture, including a hammock on the front veranda. Everything had been done to ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay for both couples and families. In the morning, we enjoyed lovely walks along the beach, feeling the sand between our toes, collecting shells, and planning our day's activities. After dinner, we would take another leisurely and romantic stroll along the beach in the moonlight. It was truly a wonderful experience. To coin a phrase, "I'll be back"

Comfortable and cosy

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights with my son and his girlfriend. We loved the place! It was really comfortable for relaxing in the evenings, and we found everything we needed to cook meals and keep ourselves entertained. There was plenty of wood, and once we got the hang of the woodburner, we kept ourselves warm and cosy, despite the rain and cold. White Beach is a really friendly area, and with amazing walks and good shops nearby, it's a great place for a holiday.

Short Stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay at their property, unfortunately on the second night the power went out for all of white beach so that dulled our trip a bit, but the house is well stacked with things to keep you busy
