  • The Historic Bluebell. Beautifully restored, charming and cozy with plenty of space for work or relaxation in a quiet neighborhood.

    The Bluebell is the perfect place for your home away from home. Located in the small town of Wheatland, it is a short 5 minute walk to the downtown area filled with a brewery/steak restaurant, bookstore, antique and curio shops.

    The house has been lovingly restored and features original artwork and cozy antique furniture but has all the modern conveniences like wifi and TV.
    The Bluebell is a rare gem on the high plains of Wyoming. Convenient location and all the amenities for a pleasant short or long stay. The hosts live right next door for assistance or recommendations. Come and stay to fill your memories with the quiet, clean cottage on the prairie with hopes to return.

    A treasure for the “work at home” set with reliable wifi and plenty of natural light to keep good energy endorphins going.

    A fully equipped kitchen open to the rest of the house means anyone cooking is not missing out from conversation or activities.

    If you’re looking for a vacation hideaway there is a DVD player with DVDs for all ages and a Red Box is just a couple of blocks away. Plus books, puzzles, cards and board games offer plenty of diversions.

    Laundry facilities are on-site, no need to find a laundromat.

Great!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Bluebell had everything we needed for a nice few days visiting family. My favorite part was coffee on the patio in the mornings. We'll be back!

Nice, convenient place to stay in Wheatland

Stayed for 4 nights in January. The place was nice, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was great - easy to walk to dinner in downtown Wheatland. Owner was very supportive.

Great cozy stay

Enjoyed this quaint little house. Snow surrounded us so we stayed in. Played games, watched movies and cooked as a family. Perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Thanks again.

The Way the West Was

Quaint historical home, cozy, convenient, and perfect for a quick layover on the trails west. Thanks for having me! Loved the propane fireplace heater. Pleasant neighborhood, complete with train whistles make this a qunitesential Wyoming stay.

We came to town for a family event.

Pleasant environment

So wonderful that the owners are restoring this charming house! When my local family came by to see where we were staying, they were happy to see the restorations too and all felt the house was cozy and comfortable. As with any older home, further repairs and painting of trim will likely occur as time and resources allow although, these things do not hinder the charm and livability of the home. Plenty of room for the two of us, we were comfortable in this quiet neighborhood.
