One Tree Point Waterfront Studio Apartment

One Tree Point absolute waterfront Studio Apartment, with amazing views across the Whangarei Harbour to Mt Manaia. The ultimate beach holiday for a couple, with all the basic amenities taken care of and the bonus of being right beside the water. Here, you can enjoy the very safe beach on your front doorstep and laze under the shade of Pohutukawa trees. There are excellent boat launching facilities nearby, and an incredible harbour to explore. We have two bikes available for you to use.

This ground floor Studio Apartment has everything you could want for the perfect holiday for a couple, or even if you are on your own.
The secluded white sandy beach, only a few steps off the front lawn, has wonderful safe swimming low or high tide.
It is a comfortable self contained unit, with one double bed, sofa, full kitchen, your own bathroom and separate laundry.
BBQ or sit and relax and enjoy the amazing and expansive views.
This is a compact apartment with the double bed in the lounge. This bed has amazing sea views .
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove top, microwave, and fridge/freezer, plus all the usual kitchen utensils and crockery.
The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and wash basin. There is an outside cold shower to wash off after swimming.
You have access to your own storage shed and laundry. This contains an extra upright fridge/freezer should you need it, and washing machine (cold wash only).
On the expansive front lawn you can relax in the sun loungers and BBQ table. These are shared with other guests or owners who are staying in adjoining units. Or you can enjoy the privacy of your own patio , and small patio table and chairs.
The area is very flat, and amazing to explore on foot or by bike, which we have available for you to use.
There is parking under cover for 1 car.

1hr 45 from Auckland
5 minute walk over the lock to the Marina Cafe.
6 minute drive to great boat ramp at Marsden Cove Marina.
3 minute drive to the One Tree Point boat ramp.
9 minute drive to Ruakaka Beach.
30 minute drive to Whangarei to visit Hundertwassser

As well as your own private apartment, there is an outside cold shower to wash off after swimming.
You have access to your own storage shed and laundry. There is a freezer and washing machine (cold wash only).

One Tree Point is an awesome place for some R&R. There's a lot of development in the area, but apart from a few weeks at Christmas it is still fairly sleepy! Walk, bike ride, swim, paddle board, sit around and read, walk to the cafe in the canal development. Walk or ride around La Pointe Estate and the 9 hole golf course. There's plenty to do or nothing to do if you choose.
Boat launching is just 100m from your door or 1km drive to the Marsden Cove Marina boat ramp.
Just a 1km walk away is the interesting Mardsen Cove Marina. The monthly market is at the One Tree Point School, which you'll pass on your way and 'The Marina Cafe' is open for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner beside the water.
Ruakaka surf beach is a 10 min drive away.
The public golf course is near Waipu, and a there is a lovely Four Square Supermarket at the Marina or the Ruakaka Shopping Centre just a 10 min drive away. Waipu with its quaint historic atmosphere has a variety of interesting shops, museum and cafes to explore.
Cycle/drive from One Tree Point to the Oil refinery wharf to watch or try the fishing off the long pier, or nip to the surf on Ruakaka Beach for a quick dip in the waves.

There is no public transport in the area - you'll need your own car. Bring bikes as it is a perfect area for riding around, but just as good to walk around - we recommend stopping off at the Marsden Cafe in the Marsden Cove Marina!

There are 4 other units in this building. Mostly they are used by the owners in the weekends and over the busy Xmas/New Year period. Otherwise it is extremely quiet. What we love about this area is the peace and quiet, and we ask you to give consideration to your neighbours. No noise after 9.30pm, please share the communal furniture, and be mindful of parking in the allocated area.

This is the perfect place to unwind. The beach and surrounding views are amazing. We enjoyed biking to the marina, walking the beach and soaking up the scenery from the comfy chairs. Mark and Leona are fantastic! Highly recommend!

Loved so much about this place. The location - right on the beach and the amazing harbor views, the use of the paddleboards and bikes, the quiet little suburban area, the Marina cafe, the unit feeling spacious and having the kitchenette and bathroom and even the good quality instant coffee supplied. Mark and Leone have been the most amazing and supportive owners, assisting the stay of our employees. Their utmost concern that our staff over a several month period have been comfortable, supportive and happy not only with accommodation but with their time in general whilst visiting the area supporting business activities. Mark and Leone have also been really flexible and even supported one of our employees with opening a bank account locally. Thank you to them both, and I look forward to engaging them and their lovely unit again in the future.
