Our beach house is on Otahu Road. It is comfortable, and it is especially suitable for a family of four or a couple sleeping upstairs and a couple sleeping downstairs, with privacy on each level. Linen is provided.
It is a 3-bedroom beach house with 2 bathrooms, providing accommodation for your holiday stay all year round. It is 300 metres to the Otahu Estuary, 500 metres down the road to the beautiful Ocean Beach (as shown in the photos), and 1.8 km to the surf club. The Estuary store is also close by.
The beach house has a north-facing deck and upstairs enjoys the beautiful outlook of the surrounding bush and a glimpse of the sea. The beach house is modern and light with an open-plan living area, comfortably furnished, including comfortable beds. All the mod-cons, including a heat pump, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, DVD, a smart TV upstairs, a T.V. with Freeview and Chromecast downstairs in the lounge, and unlimited WIFI with Fibre. There are electric blankets on the two Queen beds. The main bedroom upstairs has an en suite and a smart T.V. The 2nd bathroom downstairs has a shub (small bath), a shower, and a separate toilet. This property is professionally cleaned between tenants.

fantastic

We found the property to be lovely and quiet at this time of year. The house is cute and cosy and suited us perfectly when we were hanging out after a busy day out and about. The trees around the property add to the beauty and really encourage the local bird life to visit which was awesome to see. The beach was a conveniently short walk away and the shops didn't take long at all to drive to. Averil was nothing but a pleasure to talk to and communicate with and really made the effort to make sure our stay was a good experience which was all very appreciated. Absolutely would book another stay in the future :)

Fabulous stay in well located bach

We loved our 10 day stay at this property - great location only a short walk to the beach and estuary. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Averil was a great host - helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend for family holiday or two couples.

Golf Getaway

Lovely wee house, very comfortable with easy access to everything. Only comments being, I have used used bookabach often, never had the expectation to empty dishwasher before leaving, usually fill and leave runing on leaving. Also feel you should get one rubbish bag included in your fee, not take it with you, should be part of cleaning fee. Would use again, great host contact 👍

Estuary Adventures

My family stayed at this great bach over the long weekend and had a wonderful time. They said it was perfect for their family with everything they needed. They explored the estuary, and the dairy was just down the road, ideal for kids and their scooters. The park was also really handy, so the location was perfect. They highly recommended Averil's fabulous bach. She was also wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and great communication.

Great kiwi bach with everything you need. Handy to the beach and estuary which was great for exploring with the kids. Local store is handy for great coffee, takeaways and supplies. Very clean and tidy.

Great stay

Place was clean and had good sized bedrooms. Two bathrooms were great. All the things that you need for a great holiday. A couple of minutes walk and you are at the beach or estuary. Took the bikes and easy to bike anywhere you wanted.
