"My boyfriend and I traveled to Savannah for the first time celebrating my birthday which was July 4th. The front desk attendant told us that lightening had struck the building and caused the tv to go out. So it was an option to continue our stay or not. When we went into our room everything was nice except the tv not working at all. It didn’t even turn on and honestly they didn’t really care to accommodate us. "I was only inside the property for 20 minutes, and that was enough for me to leave. First of all, the treatment at the reception was not good, but I had to give my room a chance. Big mistake! On the way to the room we found dirty hallways, the elevator had a very unpleasant smell, supposedly you couldn't smoke or use a vape, but the stench of marijuana was horrible. In the room, the sheets were dirty, the toilet didn't work, the cabinets were broken, they had never cleaned that, not to mention...

"As a last minute stay we could not have been more pleased! The property is just lovely, the staff phenomenal, the espresso martini 10/10, the bagels and lox and the hand crafted cappuccino snuggled up in the most luxurious sheets ever like I could go on forever! My only complaint was that we didn’t not have the time to stay longer! With that being said we have already booked a weekend in August and will be taking full advantage of the spa services and hopefully a yoga class as well :)"

"Very nice historic hotel. They have a wine a cheese get together every night, with a different theme every evening. We had the best time the evening of our second night as they had a local musician on an acoustic guitar who was awesome. Great hotel, great staff, great city. Great stay."
