Only moan was car parking, it isn’t owned by the pub, you have get a ticket or app the book your car in, but the most you can do is three and a half hours, so if staying from 1830 the car park is £1.70 until 05:00, but you cannot update on the app until your parking expires , very stressful, that needs to be looked at by MIpermits who work on behalf of...

"The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!"

"Everything was lovely and the front staff so very helpful. The only thing I would say about was the sound on the TV it was very muffled all the time no matter what we put it up to. "Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."
