"I enjoyed my stay. The tub was stained though. And the shower was tricky to turn on, but other than that - staff were friendly and helpful. No bugs seen, sheets appeared clean. Area was quiet. The breakfast looked and smelled good..I didn't eat any of it because I had other breakfast plans."

"The ac was was so loud we couldn't use it. The sheets were not clean on the bed... if they were clean then they were grossly stained. The bed was also hard and clanked with every movement you made. The desk chair was broke and wouldn't raise up to the desk at all. Ended up not even sleeping there. Only good thing there was the kind lady at the desk."

"The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!"

"There were bed bugs. We showed it to the manager and he just shrugged. When we said we wanted a refund he lied that there wasn’t bed bugs even though we had one trapped in a cup. They wouldn’t refund and Expedia did not help. Shame on both this place and Expedia. Terrible terrible terrible business on both sides."

"I definitely do not recommend this hotel. The beds were dirty, the towels were stained, the bedspreads were stained, the room smelled terrible, the air conditioning didn't work, and, above all, the cleanliness of the room was terrible."

"I’ve seen jail cells in third world countries cleaner than this dive! I needed a dry place to escape from the rain while traveling on my motorcycle,which is the only reason I stayed. I wouldn’t even take a shower in this dump. Toilet paper filling a hole in the window. God knows what running down the wall. Expedia should remove this property from the site. Did I mention the working girls!"
