This single family house with direct private access 30 steps from the Wells beach is the perfect location to enjoy the summer with family and friends. The house has been set up with reverse living for views of the ocean from the second floor kitchen and living room while dining or enjoying a beverage. Relax and listen to crashing waves from every room in the house.

Meticulous maintained with 4 bedroom that can sleeps 9 comfortably. This home offers fully equipped kitchen plus private grill for outside BBQing.

The perfect home for friends and family to spend their holidays with enough space and privacy for all.

Freshly laundered linens and towels provided as well as welcome toiletries to make the visit more simple.

Basic Set up:
1st floor has 2 bedrooms, living room, full bath and laundry.
2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and full bath.

There is a door at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor which provides added privacy if 2 families want to share the home or adults want some privacy from the kids.

Direct, private access to beach, no street to cross. This house has its own private driveway for 2 car or 3 small cars.

This is the back cottage on an ocean front lot. Both homes are owned by the same family and available for rent, reference VRBO #1648801.

Located just 1 mile away from Route 1 known to have some of the best restaurants and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

We were in house number 2 which is just a minute's walk from the beach. We encountered a few minor issues with the coffee maker and the grill not working that the host dealt with the same day that we let her know about it which was helpful. We all had a memorable vacation.

We had a great experience staying at this property! This is our 6th straight year staying in Wells and this was the best one yet. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Walking out the door and onto the beach for sunrise…. Doesn’t get better than that! Check in was easy and Sophia was responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again.

Our family consisted of 5 adults and 4 children (9,6,3,3). The downstairs area became a playroom-tv room and that gave the adults quiet periods in the upstairs kitchen. Being on the beach side was perfect. The older kids could go back to the house without having to cross the street. Everyone had a great time and the house had everything needed. Sophia was very responsive and easy to work with.

We a great time visiting our brother in Wells for the week. We were looking for a place with beach access and a separate space for our teenagers to hangout. This place fit the bill perfectly! The house was clean and the owner was very responsive when we had an issue. The view of the ocean from the living room was better than we were expecting. Thank you for sharing your place with us! My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this home. We rented both the front and the back houses as we were a group of 6 couples and 3 kids ranging from 13-6 years old. The beach access was definitely the appeal of the house, we were able to spend quality time together both in the house and on the sand without making a huge production of traveling to the beach everyday. Sophia was responsive to all of our questions and concerns and we would definitely stay here again.

The house is steps away from the beach which is very convenient and the host has an entire shed filled with beach chairs which was nice to not have to bring our own. A/C in each bedroom was a plus. One negative was The stairs are winding and very dangerous as we did have small children, however there was a gate at the bottom and a door at the top to prevent them using it alone. The host was quick to respond with contact. Driveway is a tight squeeze but we did fit 3 cars fine. The outdoor shower was great for cleaning off after the beach. Overall we had a great stay

Overall, nice property and excellent location. Having the kitchen on the second floor took some getting used to. It was stocked for general cooking, which is great, but could use a can opener. Washer/dryer was very useful. Beach chairs were a great offering. We had a lovely stay with splendid weather!

Just steps to the ocean which was great and location was great - walking distance to Mile Road. Sophia was very very responsive and helpful for questions which we appreciated. Was just one thing - for our particular group of 6 (plus child) we found it difficult to find a location in the house to gather (since kitchen on upper floor and larger area for sitting on lower floor). Overall, it was a good rental and we were grateful to have found it for our reunion weekend. Thank you, Sophia!

Sophia is wonderful and accommodating. We arrived early and she let us go in, changed into our suits, access the chairs that were there for us to use, and we went down to the beach. We were extremely happy with the house and location, and booked the same week in 2022.

This is a really great location even though you are the second house of a 2-house oceanfront lot. It takes less than 30 seconds to walk onto the sand! House is kept in great shape and clean and the owner Sophie is very easy to communicate with and quite responsive.
