Wells Beach gem

An outstanding location. Very kid friendly. All the essentials for a toddler. Plenty of room for four generations to spend a week together. We will definitely rent this place again. Donna was awesome. She responded right away to any questions we had. The views and amenities in the home were outstanding. One of the best vacation rentals we have had in the US .

What could have been

Beautiful property marred by broken a/c system, complicated by middle company Vacasa to deal with, no one local at Vacasa able to help unless during 9-5 hours. Took 24-26 hours to get the problem identified took about 36 hours for temps to get to comfortable temps 2 nights of a 4 night stay uncomfortable.First night 87 degrees inside, no fans in property, most windows do not open-blocked by hurricane shields or do not have screens. One window opened in master bedroom had large whole, we spent over an hour killing bugs. Went to get into bed and master br covered in hairs that were not our own, appeared to be human medium to long curly and animal, short looked like dog hair. Disgusting. After originally offering refund of first night stay to us in person, Vacasa rep/owner stated that since they found the problem, they should only have to give us under 30% of that amount and settled on just over 60% of the first night stay. Really disappointing to deal with owner and local vacasa rep for so many hours for them not to stick to their word. Vacasa also originally said due to cleanliness issues they would also refund us. That dropped and everything blamed on owner .... all documented with photos sent to Vacasa and VRBO. Will not rent with Vacasa again as central Vacasa office can do nothing but relay messages to local Vacasa office who is open 9-5. We had to get our own fans or go home brutal temps inside.Bottom line: get every interaction with this owner/Vacasa in writing.

The house was perfect for our needs! It is beautifully situated right on the beach. We had a couple of issues which were handled quickly and efficiently the local host, who was a pleasure to work with.

Family Fun

We had a fantastic family vacation at Sea Gold, it is the perfect spot to enjoy lots of play time on the beach. The home is amazing. Can’t wait to return.

Excellent property

property is in an amazing location. property was clean- great setup for us and our 4 kids. Access to the water. privacy. Initially difficult to get in touch with the property manager but once we did she was very very responsive and helpful. Outdoor games would be great- bag toss, ladder ball, etc.

Family getaway

Beautiful property with most amazing views from every room. The snow didn’t bother us as we enjoyed shopping at the local outlets as well as just sitting in living room watching the snow hit the ocean. Truly breathtaking views

We had a very nice stay at this home. The location is beautiful and the home was very clean

Our family enjoyed our time at this home over the Holiday. Our favorite room was the expansive living room where we enjoyed playing games, having conversations and just being together. I would also like to note that all of the beds were extremely comfortable!!!! And the home was very clean!!

This place is beautiful!

We enjoyed this place so much! The views are amazing! Very clean, spacious, comfortable seating in the living room. Outdoor area was great to have your morning coffee. The only caution at all was the loft bedroom is open therefore whoever is sleeping there may hear noises more than the other bedrooms, but overall I would highly recommend this place.

Not Sea Gold but Sea Diamond!!

A diamond is much more rare than Gold and that is what this place is…rare! It’s rare that you find a home as impeccably clean, new everything, and such an unbelievable location! Amazing!

Beautiful home with beach access!

We enjoyed the spacious home with amazing views and beach access just steps away from house. Plenty of yard space too for watching sea life & for grandkids to play.

Beautiful views and beautiful property

Three siblings and spouses and one child enjoyed a week at this property. The views were stunning, even during inclement weather. We enjoyed watching the daily comings and goings of seals, ducks and an eagle. Inside the home we had ample room for everyone with space to spread out and enjoy. The outdoor furniture was comfortable and ample for our group. The property is located close to Portland, Wells and Ogunquit and all of the conveniences of these locations, and a brief 35 minutes from the Portland airport. We'd love to stay here again!
