Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. "Welcome was friendly & very helpful. Building quaint. Very clean. Some nice wee touches. No food available. Basic amenities in room lacking - no bin in bathroom, bed sagging at one side, lack of sockets, unable to get shower to work - no one in property in morning to ask for help. Noise from bar until midnight - could hear conversations, music & pool being played. "

Parking was free 6pm to 6am and is a 5-10 minute walk away at Argos and can be paid for remotely from 6am 8am which was £2. "

All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub.
