"The main problem is that this is a converted office space with very poor sound proofing. The street facing walls are almost all glass, so you can clearly hear every sound from the street. We also heard conversations from upstairs and next door. When we complained about a loud conversation heard at 03:30 it took the host a long time to respond."

"Everyone that worked at the hotel was very helpful, friendly and personable. The thing we did not like was there was a 2 - 4 inch topper mattress that was put over the mattress on the bed. The topper was not the correct size and it moved around. You couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off and the sheet kept coming off."

"This spacious apartment was in a perfect location for us -- within a 20-minute walk (or a 5-10-minute tram ride) to the museums, canal tour, and other sights at the top of our list, and quiet at night, away from the ruckus closer to Centraal Station. There is a terrific food hall on the same block, as well as access on the same block in the other direction. The check-in at the Hotel de Hallen (one block away) was effortless, and we were greeted by friendly and gracious folks behind the desk. ...
