"Unfortunately, this property was the first disappointing home I have stayed in using VRBO. From the beginning there was a lack of communication from the owner with simple questions sent pre-arrival that were never answered. Upon arrival the landscaping & yard were so overgrown that we could not enjoy the outdoor spaces. Accessible hosts by text/phone. Short drive to downtown Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely return. Be mindful if you travel with anyone with mobility concerns...parts of the driveway are steep due to the mountainous landscape. Overall a wonderful property. "
