The Best of Dupont with Parking and Outdoor Space

Summary:
Live like a local in this recently renovated, well-appointed classic-Dupont area English basement apartment with outdoor space, off-street parking and a location perfect for enjoying the best of city living at your doorstep! The immediate neighborhoods provide amazing options for dining at award-winning restaurants, shopping at boutiques or the Trader Joe's around the corner, working out at some of the most popular DC gyms and exploring the vibrant nightlife of Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, and U Street. Metrorail is two blocks away for easy access to Downtown for museums on the Mall, theatre in Penn Quarter or pro baseball in Navy Yards.

The Space:
The front garden entrance of the apartment opens to a lovely living room with a big leather couch for relaxing or watching the Smart TV. A nice selection of books is yours to enjoy to sit back, read and reflect after a busy day in the city.

The all-new full-sized kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), Quartz countertops, and amenities including coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, blender, cookware, dishes, and silverware. Next to the kitchen is a delightful dining area for enjoying 'home' cooked meals or a take-out from one of the many restaurants nearby. Or dine "al fresco" (in the open air) on the delightful deck, just up from the rear entrance at the dining area. Take a short walk a block or two for dessert at an ice cream parlor or a Cuban cafe.

You'll enjoy a wonderful night's sleep in the spacious bedroom with a comfortable Queen sized-bed. The room has bedside tables, dresser, and walk-in closet with plenty of clothes hangers and shoe racks. The desk and chair provide a well-lit working space; the unit offers strong WiFi for efficient work from home time during your stay.

The remodeled bathroom design features a roomy walk-in shower with tiled surround and glass sliding doors. The bathroom is fully stocked with essentials including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and moisturizer! There's a hair dryer too. Across the hall from the bathroom you will find the laundry closet with the clothes washer and dryer; detergent is provided for your convenience.

Enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine on the inviting rear deck of the townhouse. There is a coveted and a convenient parking spot off the street for one car.

Guest Access:
Guests will have complete access to this entire self-contained unit with two private entrances. Please note that the back deck is shared with the gracious owners who reside in the primary residence upstairs; they can put the sun umbrella out for you if you prefer the shade. While the unit has had soundproofing measures taken to limit noise transfer, you may hear some occasional everyday sounds (footsteps, the doors) but the owners are considerate and keep it to a minimum. They are available to help with dinner recommendations or advice about exploring the wonderful adjacent neighborhoods or beyond!

The Neighborhood:
This property is conveniently located within a few short blocks of Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Adams Morgan, and U Street, but still maintains a calm, and residential feel, you’re super close to the action while having a quiet spot to rest and relax.
You will find an array of restaurants, shops, parks, and other sights to see, all within short walking distance. We can’t wait to share our favourites! Should you choose to go further out into the city, you will also find convenient public transportation options.

Cherry Bloom Vacation

Updated, clean, quiet one bedroom with off street parking was exactly what we wanted. Also, the kitchen did not disappoint with full size refrigerator and all the dishes/pots/pans/utensils necessary to prepare an eat-in meal. The nearby Trader Joe's with free parking was a bonus.Thanks to the owners of this outstanding property.

Perfect stay

Overall this place was perfect for the 2 nights we visited. Check in was a breeze, the management company was very helpful and responsive, unit was clean & comfortable, and the family upstairs is very kind & respectful. 5/5 would recommend for anybody searching & we would definitely stay here again!

Enjoying City Life

The English basement apartment was the perfect location for me to visit my daughter, walk the neighborhoods of NW DC, enjoy great restaurants and cafes, and people watch. The unit was impeccable and fully equipped with anything you might want including filtered water, coffee and specialty teas. Check in and check out was easy. Communication was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

Superb property in ideal location--I will definitely return!

Newly-renovated apartment in rowhouse near U Street corridor and all of its great restaurants, yet in easy walking distance to Dupont Circle, etc. Although an English basement, it was bright and airy throughout. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable I have encountered in quite some time. The apartment is fully and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. I was there on a 10-day research project and was happy to utilize the kitchen, cooking most of my meals after buying provisions and wine at Trader Joe's, about 1 1/2 blocks away! Also enjoyed dining out at nearby restauarants of note. Parked my car in the offstreet parking space that comes with the apartment and took it out only once the entire stay, as there is so much within an easy walk or metro jaunt. It was my most enjoyable and comforable stay in DC after moving from the area some years back. Cudos to the owner/landlord.
