  • Renovado en 2015 y bellamente decorado, esta cochera de entrada independiente tiene pisos de madera, techos altos y todo lo que necesitará para su estadía en la colina. El dormitorio tiene una cama queen size de cuatro columnas, tocador, tocador de mármol y un sillón acogedor. Las puertas francesas se abren a un jardín secreto, el lugar perfecto para disfrutar del desayuno. El baño está hecho en travertino cremoso con una gran ducha de azulejos. La gran sala tiene una cama de día con una cama nido oculta, dos sillones, una barra de escalera y un televisor de pantalla plana y una mesa antigua multifunción: escondido en una alcoba, es el espacio ideal para comer un sándwich, trabaje en su computadora portátil o cargue sus dispositivos electrónicos. A la hora de comer, sáquelo de la pared y levante los lados para obtener una mesa con capacidad para seis. Háganos saber cuántas sillas de comedor tipo bistro necesitará. A lo largo de la pared posterior, la cocina totalmente equipada tiene una estufa de 4 hornallas, fregadero y refrigerador de 5 pies. Se incluye estacionamiento fuera de la vía pública para un automóvil. No hay lavadora / secadora en el apartamento, pero hay una lavandería a 7 cuadras de distancia.

We had a wonderful stay here. The carriage house is absolutely charming and opens onto a back garden that feels like a secret sanctuary. Everything was clean and comfortable, exactly as described. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the sites around the Capitol, and the neighborhood felt very safe, so returning by foot in the evening (with a child) was not a concern. Having a dedicated parking space meant we did not have to worry about moving the car and instead could relax and enjoy our time in the city. We would definitely return.

Great location! Pet Friendly! Easy to find as long as you follow owners instructions. Check in process super easy too. This historic property is very charming, the neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is walkable to most landmarks, and restaurants. Also, there is a bus stop just on the other side of the park so you can just leave your personal vehicle in the off street parking which is a HUGE bonus to this property. The private courtyard is a beautiful garden oasis in the city to sit and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The owners are attentive and easy to reach for any issues that might arise. I would definitely book this property again. 5 Stars.

The location was great and the free parking was a bonus. It felt like a very safe neighborhood and you could easily walk to sites on Capitol Hill. The house was clean and the owner was easy to reach when we had a question. We highly recommend this rental and would stay here again!

The perfect place to discover Capital Hill

This property has a lovely outdoor area which would be lovely for the spring or fall in DC. But I would recommend it for any time of the year

Excellent location

Being in the neighborhood was perfect for dog walks and biking. The city is such a great place for biking around and being able to park our car off street and leave it there was amazing. Accommodations were good, large shower with good pressure. Friendly residents and safe, fast internet. AC in both rooms was a plus.

Great Place!

We so enjoyed our stay! They neighborhood was just close enough to walk to anything we needed and the garden in the back was perfect for resting in after a long day. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, a little smaller than I anticipated but there was plenty of space for my husband, myself and 2 teens to have room. Would definitely recommend.

Great location in DC

Great location, beautiful old property with historical touches, enjoyed our visit. On the surface the place was clean, but our curious dog quickly found a dirty sock, bloody tissue, and candy wrappers in corners and there was a bit of dirt and dust on the floors - may be time for a deep clean :)

Great little place near the National Mall

The carriage house was comfortable, convenient to the National Mall and just a short walk to a Metro station, which made it easy to get everywhere. Quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. Loved it.

This Capitol Hill carriage house is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed in D.C.! The sleeping arrangements were perfect, with two different rooms - one for us and one for our adult daughter. The courtyard was a fun addition for atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Our hosts were just delightful and so helpful. The location can't be beat - just a block from the Supreme Court building. And the bonus of free parking was unbelievable. Truly a delight and we will be returning to this property!

Highly recommended vintage stay

Great location with offstreet parking, which was my number one priority. This rental did not disappoint. Bed was very comfortable, and very quiet all the time. Expect to do a fair amount of walking when in Washington DC, and a Whole Foods and Capitol Metro South were accessible from this rental. This rental had everything we needed for our four day stay in DC.
