We stayed at this house with a group of eight people, and it was an excellent experience. The home is very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It was warm, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to sit together and sleep comfortably. There is also a convenient workspace, which was important to us.A special thank you for the kitchen, it is fully equipped and has all the essentials. And an extra thank you for the coffee machine. Being able to make a really good espresso or cappuccino in the morning made our stay even better.The location is very convenient and close to the Capitol, which was perfect for our plans. Everything was great, and we will definitely stay here again.Also, a big thank you to Gary, who was always available, answered all my questions quickly, and communication was extremely easy and pleasant.

This was the perfect place to stay for our family holiday. The neighborhood is close to the capital yet in a quiet neighborhood. We had the space we needed as well as all of the comforts of home. Gary was an exceptional communicator. This was an all around perfect choice.

Our family enjoyed a visit to DC for the Thanksgiving holiday, and this was the perfect spot to enjoy time in the district. Everything - from furnishings, to kitchen, to bedrooms and linens - was well appointed and made us feel right at home. Gary was an incredibly responsive and helpful host who helped ensure everything was taken care of. We would love to stay here again.

Our extended family of 6 (plus one more couple who dropped in for the day) really enjoyed our stay at this charming townhouse! The location was excellent - very quite at night, and walking distance to the park, nearby coffee & wine shop, restaurants, and museums.We enjoyed getting to know a new neighborhood vs. staying in a downtown hotel. Very friendly, with families out walking with kids and pets!

What a lovely property! It was so clean and so quiet there. The check-in process was seamless. There were four of us ranging in age from 82 -34 and we all had a great time! Great neighborhood. The first day the four of us walked to the corner store two blocks away. It had everything we needed and the people were friendly. You can tell we felt safe: one evening my husband and I walked back to the little store at night. Lots of nice folks walking their dogs. Everyone we passed said Hi! The HVAC worked perfectly, which is important. We went to lots of museums but the best part of the trip was when the four of us sat around in the pretty living room and visited! I loved it. Will certainly come back again. Bravo!

Great week in DC

This was a great property for our family vacation (7 adults). There was plenty of room with good accommodations, comfy beds, and a nice quiet neighborhood. Gary is tremendous at communicating and making sure everything goes smoothly. It was a decent location for getting to the sites we wanted to visit.

Three friends and I stayed here for our annual college friends get together. It was an awesome place to stay. Pros: Very spacious and beautiful Nice well stocked kitchen Comfortable living area to hang out Clean Amazing location - beautiful and safe street Walkable to mall and many restaurants Good communication with owner. Con: I think the only negative was that in July, in order to keep the other upstairs bedroom cool enough, the main bedroom got very cold, even with the door open. The third upstairs bedroom had its own window unit and that was necessary. It really was a very lovely and perfect stay!

Fantastic location

Property was as described. Neighborhood was quiet. We traveled with our three children during spring break and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the extra space to spread out after a long day sightseeing. Owner was quick to answer any questions I had, gave recommendations and despite street parking we found a spot easily! Definitely recommend :)

Our family of four absolutely loved this place! The location was ideal- we loved walking to the park and to the Eastern Market as well as to the Smithsonians. The neighborhood is quiet and very family friendly. The house is beautiful and super clean. It was well equipped with all we needed in the kitchen. I highly recommend this property!

Clean and beautiful

We were a group of 4 couples. Everyone had their own room and downstairs is a lovely little private suite. Great amenities, esp for the coffee drinkers. Quiet, well maintained neighborhood, lots of Halloween decorations. We walked everywhere but if you Uber it is relatively inexpensive.

This Property Was Awesome

This is a really comfortable VRBO location in a great neighborhood in Washington DC. Walk to Capitol Hill is convenient and easy to drive too as well. Highly recommend this VRBO.
