We had the absolute best time staying here. The location is beautiful and it was easy to get around the city. Several restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. We had 8 adults staying at this location and had plenty of room. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again if we comeback to the city.

My husband, our four kids, and I really enjoyed our stay. The convenient location near the metro meant we were easily able to see all the DC sites. Also, being within walking distance to a shopping district made dinner meal planning a breeze. Lastly, the property owner was a great communicator.

The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking with an assortment of new, small appliances; however, we did not cook during our stay. Since the location was about five blocks from Union Station, we preferred eating out or picking up food to bring back to the house.We appreciated being able to park our vehicle on the street in front of the house and use the Metro to visit the museums.The house with 2.5 bathrooms worked perfectly for my group of two couples. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood. The host was always responsive. We had no issues with checking in or with any services (e.g., Wi-fi or security). It was also nice having a multitude of hooks for our coats, purses, umbrellas, towels, etc.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed being in a quieter neighborhood but so easily accessible to the rest of DC. Great groceries and other stores just a block away and red line less than 10 minute walk. House was in very good shape, very clean and enjoyable as place to relax. Highly recommend.

This is a very well appointed home, with everything you need for a good stay. The beds are very comfortable. The property is conveniently located to many activities and attractions. Lu was very responsive to our needs, and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Washington DC in this house! The location is great, with all of the major attractions 10-15 minutes away, and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants near the house. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had plenty of space. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great spot in DC and would happily stay here again.

Location was great for our stay in Washington DC. Very nice neighborhood and about a 20-minute walk to Union Station. What a beautiful home and tastefully decorated with modern appliances. Every room was very clean. I highly recommend staying in this historical home.

Solides, gut ausgestattetes Haus in Capitol Hill. Problemlose An- und Abreise. Parkgenehmigung für Parkplatz vor der Tür vom Vermieter erhalten. Wlan gut. Bosch-Waschmaschine und Bosch-Trockner vorhanden. Direkt um die Ecke Einkaufsmöglickeiten und Capitol Bikeshare-Station. Doppelbetten etwas schmal. Klimaanlage im EG extrem laut. Baustelle ggü. hat ab ca. 8 Uhr morgens mit lautem Gepiepe rückwärtsfahrender Fahrzeuge genervt. Einrichtung teilweise nicht auf erwartetem Niveau (z.B. Duschen mit unzeitgemäßen Gummimatten und Plastikvorhängen; grober, teilweise lockerer Küchenboden). Insgesamt angenehmer Aufenthalt.

This was a lovely house with everything you need. In a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, walkable to many great locations! The beds were legit comfortable too! We had a few minor issues with the house but the ones we addressed with Lu were promptly responded to. I will say- the living room could definitely use more seating! But, I’d definitely stay here again! Thank you for hosting us!

Great Property

Property was clean and well stocked. We had one issue with the safe, but it was addressed immediately. Close to two markets and easy streetcar ride to Union Station. Quality of the bathroom products was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend. Thanks Lu for making our stay a pleasant one.
