Shores Waikoloa is a gated community surrounded by the dramatic lava fields that encompasses the Waikoloa Resort.

You will find that our one bedroom unit with new Central AC is the perfect location for your next vacation and offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Shores Waikoloa offers exclusive tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pool & hot tub and barbecues for the guests to enjoy.

Our recently remodeled unit with new central AC is fully furnished and has all you need to enjoy your next Hawaiian Vacation. The generous wrap-around lanai offers privacy and peaceful setting with the surrounding palm trees. Our lanai is the perfect spot to experience the Hawaiian indoor/outdoor living, to share a meal or just unwind and relax in one of the chaise lounges.

The master bedroom offers comfortable large bed and TV with cable. Our fully remodel master bathroom offers large walk in shower and dual vanity. Upon request, we set up a rollaway bed for a third guest.

The living room has a TV with cable channels and plenty of seating area. A powder room is located off the entryway for your convenience.

The Kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and it is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Washer & dryer are conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen.

Beach essentials provided: cooler; beach chair; beach towels; beach umbrella.

Our unit has a Reserved and Free parking spot. Additional Guest parking spots are available throughout the community. We are located on the second floor but our building offers elevator for easy access to the unit.

BBQ grills are available right outside the pool area.

We are available to assist you throughout your stay.

Waikoloa Resort is a very walkable area and Our great central location within the Resort allows you the opportunity to easily explore many of it’s attractions such as as the Petroglyphs, shopping at Queens and King Shop, diverse dining options, luaus and the famous Anaeho'omalu Bay. We are located in between 2 renowned golf courses: Beach and King’s Course.

Anaeho'omalu Bay or A-Bay is a beautiful white sand beach that attracts many tourists daily. A-Bay is famous for its tranquil waters and multiple water activities options such as: swimming, snorkeling, stand up paddle, canoe paddling, sailing, windsurfing, boat tours such as glass-bottom boat, dive boats, whale watch tours. When hanging out at A-Bay you most likely will encounter a Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) either swimming or taking a nap.

Shores Waikoloa is located within Waikoloa Resort and many of it's attractions such as: beaches, shops, coffee shops, restaurants and more are located about 10-30 minute walk.

Guests are required to sign Rental Agreement. Reservation is only confirmed once Rental Agreement is signed.

Nice vacation rental!

We had a great time at this vacation rental! It was clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The location is also fantastic! Close to the beach and the two shopping centers in Waikoloa Beach.

Beautiful terrace - lack of A/C

Pros: Spacious unit, updated baths, large terrace with beautiful trees and birds surrounding it. Good price. Comfy bed. Responsive manager. Cons: Decor lacked any Hawaiian influences. It was quite boring compared to the other properties we stayed at on our 4 week trip. Basically no decor. Dishes were mismatched. Definitely felt like a rental - not a place an owner would stay at. We stayed 7 days and the A/C only worked for 3 of those days. It was difficult to get a cross breeze so it was very warm and difficult to sleep at night with the heat. We would have left had we known it wouldn't get fixed but each day it seemed it would get fixed but then parts were not available or the repair person couldn't come. I understand that these things can happen unexpectedly. We were given a one night refund which I appreciated but expected more as that did not make up for the discomfort and inconvenience.

Snowbirding March 2025

Another good stay at this property. Made good use of the beach chairs and umbrella for day trips to Hapuna and Mauumae beaches. We find “The Shores” to be the best location within the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. A manageable walk to most everything. … A-Bay, Hilton, Marriot, Kings Shops etc. Lorena’s property is comfortable and well stocked. Probably time to replace the cushions on the lanai dining chairs but other than that no complaints.

Appreciated that many necessary items (soap, towels, paper towels, dish soap) were provided which is not always the case in these rental properties. The property otherwise was as pictured and described. There was one odd communication from property manager about having a plumber come in that we responded to but then never got a response on.

Snowbirding winter 2024

Our second time wintering at “The Shores” but first time in this unit. The unit was well stocked for our stay and after a day or so we had television, spectrum etc figured out. The lanai got morning sun but shade in the afternoon which suited us nicely. We had no issues while we were there and had some, but minimal, contact with our host. We plan to return in the future.

Great location, Great property

Loved the property and the accommodations. Very clean, and lovely view of the mountains. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, but there are also a number of beaches within a short driving distance. We arrived about an hour early and I contacted the host to see if we could check in a little early, and she was very accommodating. Already booked for next year!

Hope To Come Back

We loved our stay here. It was clean, with such beautiful views. We woke every morning to beautiful bird calls saying hello to the sun. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai. And the bed... It's the best sleep I've had in ages. They had everything there you could need. I hope we get to come back!

Wonderful home!

We spent a week at the Condo, and it was lovely! The home itself is in a quiet neighborhood and has been updated without losing the charm of the original unit. I can also confirm the AC has been updated and works well. It was also very clean. They have beach towel, umbrella, chairs and cooler to use. All of which were a lifesaver! The owners were easy to contact if needed and were in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. The location was perfect to access the numerous beaches nearby as well as Waimea. Even the drive to the observatory and Hilo was just over an hour. Would highly recommend!

Suited me well

Important features for me were the location in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area, the walking distance to the beach, and the exercise facility. It’s a well-maintained property that’s generally fairly quiet, which is important to me because I like to start my day slowly with a long session on the lanai reading and drinking coffee. This was my second visit to Shores Waikoloa (previously there in Dec 2019) and I still haven’t used the pool.
