"Poachers Paradise is a fabulous motel. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is right outside your room. "The little cabin was perfect, comfortable, spotless and nice little touches. The fireplace and bbq, was excellent, the rescue animals were an absoloute delight. Tom made us feel right at home and was an excellent guide.The owners were kind and relaxed, they really made you feel at home on their farm. It was a wonderfull winter weekend away and we look forward to visiting again in summer."

"Nice people after I complained about the air freshener in the room as well that single women always get awful rooms. It is the same wherever you are. We wonen pay the same price and should be given the same as they do for men. The ladies in the establishment were very good and I was updated to as better room, which was great. I recommend this place and hope that women will stand up to get better accomodation than offered."

"The Motel was very quiet, located off the main road. Generally, the room was well appointed and bed comfortable. Overnight the outside Temp dropped to -3.8 degrees, but the heater coped very well and the room stayed warm. The receptionist was very helpful with advice for places for dinner. "We really enjoyed our stay. The studio was very relaxing and Marilyn had the AC going for our arrival- which was most appreciated given it was well over 30 degrees. I loved the big bath. Wonderful for a soak. Sweet, comfortable and quirky. I would have liked a bigger bed- I think a double is too small for two adults. We also appreciated being able to bring our elderly dog. Thank you. We would happily stay again. "
