"The location is perfect. Rooms are clean and if you are lucky you get a nice view. The breakfast is good - maybe on the expensive side if you like eggs. I’ve stayed here twice. Once in summer once in winter. Rooms are very cold during the day but under the covers at night it is not."

"We did not take advantage of the breakfast. We left the location. It was quiet away from all the business. Great shopping. Just ride around the block about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the old town. The rooms were quirky but big and spacious. We had big windows we could open for ventilation. AC does not seem to work as was our experience at every hotel throughout Germany. I would recommend this place."

"Like the other Welcome Hotel in Bamberg the buffet breakfast is understanding with a great range of German breads and rolls. cheese, cold meats, hot bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, cereals including Birckenmüsli etc etc. The breakfast room faces directly onto the river Regnitz which is very picturesque. "Wir waren das 5. mal in diesem Hotel und sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Vom Personal über Bademantelgang zur Therme und natürlich ein hervorragendes Frühstück! Sehr zu empfehlen. Was vielleicht mal zu ändern ist sind die Teppichböden im Zimmer "
