"7/10 Our stay was, for the most part, comfortable. The beds were nice and the apartment very spacious. The only things we thought needed improvement was some of the cleanliness and availability of items. The ad stated there was an electric kettle but we couldnt find one anywhere in the apartment. We opted to use the coffee pot or the tea pot, but when we opened them, they were in need of a cleaning. They were covered in some kind of orange and white residue. We ended up using a pot to boil...

The home itself has been lovingly preserved to be shared and experienced by guests. The neighborhood was equally as impressive and filled with historic homes. "We did enjoy our time here. The apartment is cute, clean and comfortable. My husband had no issues with the traffic noise but I had difficulty sleeping because of the street noise. Fortunately, the meteor showers were going on so I walked to the baseball diamond at Eckart park and was able to see a bit of the meteor shower activity. "We were in La Crosse for a tournament. Wanted somewhere quiet but close to ball field. It was a very quiet spot, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. Our host was super. She gave us info on the area, bought the coffee, and even made chicken on the grill. We could relax by the dock."

"We had booked this property in July for a late September booking. I paid over $600, received a reservation confirmation from Vrbo, numerous reminder emails and check-in information. When we arrived and entered the property via the code provided to us, the property was trashed and already occupied. The host was unresponsive, and claimed that we had not paid for the property and our reservation did not exist. I am working with Vrbo to resolve. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK HERE!"

"What a place. If you’re looking for a babbling brook, birds singing, crickets chirping, stars shining, hammock swinging, glowing fire kinda place, you will find it here! And did I mention a clean and tastefully decorated cabin? Yup! You get that too. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras this place had to offer.
